Guys,

The only reason I still boot into windows is to listen to launch.com online radio. Is there a way to play launch's online radio in linux? I hope i am posting this question in the right place.

regards,

Im not sure about launch.com but if its internet radio you want check out shoutcast.com. Shoutcast will work with either xmms or rhythmbox, and if you like alternative rock let me recommend Radio Wazee at wazee.org

Streamtuner (http://www.nongnu.org/streamtuner/) is another good app but I only use shoutcast with rhythmbox.

Launch is using Windows media streaming. I think there is a support for wmv files in VLC but you will have to jump through a fair number of hoops to get launch to work.
I would recommend shoutcast.

I can't get launch.com to work because it doesn't like the Mozilla browser. Browser specific site, yuck.

Have not tried spoofing user agent to Internet Explorer yet.
