View Full Version : Swift from ground zero in Fedora

I have always used VIm for my development (Java PHP etc) and am looking to learn try Swift.
At the most basic level where can I find some very simple instructions how to set up a development environment for swift in Linux? Can I use Vim? Do I need XCode? The steps on the Apple site seem a little above me. And my Google search not helpful.

Any basic beginner tutorials on how to get started with Swift in. Red Hat (Fedora) environment.

Or suggested reading on how to create and run your first programs?
