I have performed a fresh install of F27 and installed nvidia driver following the instruction from rpmfusion (modesetting and replacing the mutter and all), all seem to be fine so far, except that I cannot launch "nvidia-setting". The error message I got is "ERROR: Unable to find display on any available system". Any idea how to fix this?

nvidia-settings only works on Xorg session.
Welcome to gnomes-hell :C , you will also notice sudo wont work either on gui apps under wayland.

Thanks Leigh for your reply. That's the reason I hold on to F24 until now. I just tried gparted now and I got the "Authentication Required" sudo GUI prompt as expected and it worked as I remember it. As for the nvidia-settings, so if I relogin using Xorg session and then configure my settings there. Would those settings only applied when I am using Xorg session or they are applicable as well when I am using Wayland?
