I have come across a problem with Nautilus. I upgraded to Fedora 27 yesterday. I am working with a large number of photographs and organizing them, often renumbering them (I use an index keyfile and store the photos with names like 010.jpg, 020.jpg..., and each index file is a table with the file name and a description of its contents.

As I am doing a lot of rearranging the directories as I add new photos (I am scanning in all of our photos from the last 40 years together). I often use a script outside of Nautilus to mass renaming the files.

Everything was OK before today. At one poin t this morning I reordered the file names, and then noticed that Nautilus did not refresh the thumbnails. I used to reload button but it produced no changes.

Is there a way to fix this? A cache to empty? some other fix? Or should I report it as a bug to the development team?
