Hello. In Fedora 27, the Gnome Tweak Tool no longer has an "Install Extension" option listed under extensions. This made installing Dash to Dock a breeze. Does anyone know how to re-enable this feature?

There are a couple ways. I prefer installing them via Firefox. Make you you have chrome-gnome-shell installed even if using FF. AFAIK you can also install via software centre.

You go through the gnome extensions web site and they will install from there there is not a link in the gnome tweak tool any longer for some reason.

There are two sources of extensions, You are discussing the link to extensions/gnome.org

The other is from command line, do

dnf list gnome-shell-extension-*

The software center finds the package, but doesn't install it. It asks for admin rights and then fails, re-lighting the install button. Install via firefox... I'm battling with "Although GNOME Shell integration extension is running, native host connector is not detected.". Any idea on how you fix this issue?

Thanks everyone for the other replies... although I haven't gotten it installed yet.

I got the native connector error to go away, now when I click the extension from "Off" to "On", it does nothing. I refresh the page and the extension is still off. The extension is also not listed in the extension menu in gnome tweak tool.
