View Full Version : Something I've noticed with VBulletin.

With the thread title as I create this thread, the text is cut off at the bottom. Looking at "new posts", on the right side of the screen, for the text

Forum:
Using Fedora

"Using Fedora" is also cut off at the bottom. What I mean by "cut off at the bottom" is that you may only see about 1/2 of any letter. This same behavior is also seen in the "Last Post" column.

I've noticed this for years on with other forums using the same software but not with the previous version of VBulletin that Fedora Forum used.

Glenn, I'm not seeing that. Wonder if others are.

Can you screenshot it?

This happens randomly, with all distributions on both my desktop and laptop. Hope this isn't too small to see.

yep, same in manjaro. it looks to be a row height issue in the forum template, changing zoom level doesn't fix it either29161

A closer look at my screen shows some clipping as well. 29162

This screenshot is from Linux Forums. I've seen this behavior there for as long as I can remember. Turns out that they're currently Powered by vBulletin® Version 4.2.2

so it's clearly a VB4 issue. i like the table format though, maybe we could borrow it for the new posts page

Its not doing it to me and I've never experienced it on any vbulletin based site ever. I wonder if its something to do with Linux as I use Chrome, Firefox, IE, Opera and Safari across MacOS, Windows, iOS and Android

I'm not seeing it with Chrome either, both here and Linux Questions. Maybe a Firefox issue?
