Hi

I upgraded from fc24 to fc26 using dnf
After reboot, dnf is now extremely slow (3 minutes required to check for an upgrade), even when there is nothing to do!
I already cleaned and rebuild the entire cache.
yumex-dnf is almost unusable.
It seems that last check of metadata always gives the same time.

Any help??
is there anyway to totally reset dnf configuration?

thanks

Dnf has probably latched onto a mirror that was fast, but for some reason, is slow. It could be that the mirror is across the ocean.

Read and follow up with this link: http://www.theironsamurai.com/dnf-slow-on-fedora-add-fastestmirror-to-your-dnf-conf/

Solved!

The problem was related to the exclude line in /etc/dnf/cdnf.conf
It seems that latest dnf versions are barely unusable with --exlude flag

thanks anyway
