I rebooted after an update this pm to get the attached screen.

KDE lets me type my password in but ignores the enter key.

The 'session' box is blank.

I can get into the command line screen OK using CTRL-ALT-F2, just don't know what to do.

Anyone else having this prob?

Hey swashplate,

I had the same issue today after installing updates. I'm now able to login again but can't tell you why. Here are a few of the things I did:

- Changed password on my user account
- Booted into an older kernel
- Freed up some space on the HD
- A couple more reboots

For reference I'm on an older i7 laptop with an AMD gpu. I'm running the KDE respin of Fedora 25.

Anyone else having this issue?

After some googling, I did sudo dnf groupinstall kde desktop environment

This said I already had KDE but installed some more packages.

startx then booted into kde

But I had to repeat this after doing an update that involved a new kernel.

Maybe a bug? hope it gets fixed
