Hi,

I need to rebuild lazarus and fpc to include cross compilation ability. I have installed fpc-src pkg but can't find out where it puts the files.

There must be some easy way to get this info from dnf but man page is very long and complex and I have not found the relevant command/option.

Where can I get this ?

Thanks.

Assuming fpc-src is the dnf package name:

dnf repoquery -l fpc-src

You can also use rpm which has the benefit of not needing to contact the external repos, but does mean you have to have the rpm file installed or available to look at locally.

thanks, that's what I was looking for.

Now I know where to look I find it in the man entry but trying to find it when it is broken into several subsections in about 30 screen-fulls of output, it's easy to miss.

thanks for the pointer.
