I have Windows 10 installed and I just installed Fedora 26. Laptop is in UEFI mode and it boots both OS perfectly.
Although when started the boot screen is black and it doesnt show neither of the OS except for a countdown that goes on until it boots in Fedora. If i move up or down arrow key the both operating systems start showing.
Fedora and Windows Boot Manager.
I searched online but i cant seem to find somebody else having this kind of problem.

Any help on how i can fix this?

I have attached an image of how the screen looks.

Thank you in advance.

Thats the monitor only.

I am using an asus K555L.

I've installed ubuntu previously with windows 10, and the grub was okay.

This is the second time i am installing fedora and its the same problem.

does the same happen on the notebook's internal panel? Fedora uses much more recent kernels and graphics stacks than Fedora. Also GRUB2 is a much newer build. I'd suggest checking on bugzilla for similar reported problems. If there's nothing there, file one.

They'll need at minimum the following:

Notebook specification including details about the GPU(s), UEFI firmware version, monitor and connection used to output to it. specific version number of grub installed (check via dnf if not sure).
