hi all,
need some help to solve this one.
i have dual booted a HP 350 G2 laptop.
during the live image install and now the newly installed F26 system the display is inverted. Occasionally flipping to the correct orientation then returning to its inverted state.
i had hoped the fresh install would correct the display orientation but it has not and it continues to behave in a similar manner to the F25 & F26 live images. (I've had several attempts at this)

since typing this plea, i have found a solution/work around

blacklist the accelerometer
/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf:
blacklist hp_accel

i'm using gnome, not cinnamon. Gnome also has an icon for auto-rotation but this did not work for me the screen would halt in the inverted state. I had to blacklist the accelerometer to make it usable.
