Hi, All!
I've installed newest FC24 yesterday using netinstall and choosing only one component 'XFCE Desktop' , even without 'Common XFCE programs' and got quite funny 50/50 mix of XFCE and Cinnamon environments.
Am I doing smth. wrong, or I've missed those two projects were merged to one?

Same happened to me: Installed 24 in a newly created VM, "dnf install @xfce-desktop-environment", and now have both Xfce and Cinnamon available.

Yep, looks like there was a bug. At least after installing this updated xfce4-session-4.12.1-9.fc24 and gdm I have access to both cinnamon and xfce.
Thx for a tip

I saw it when I took a look at LXQT via a netinstall. Adam W.'s workaround in the bug report linked above avoided Cinnamon when I added the LXQT group to a new minimal netinstall.
