I am not interested in installing NVIDIA driver, I just want to adjust the screen resolution. Is this possible and how would I do it?
Thanks

Heya

First, see the output of xrandr.
You'll then know what your display device is (eDP-0, VGA-0, HDMI-0,DVI-0,...) set for the "Screen 0".
Also, you see which resolution it supports/recomends, the line with the asterix (*) is the current one.

example:

xrandr --output HDMI-0 1920x1080

HI,
Thanks for reply. Have Fedora 23 installed on two desktops. One is OK but the it's the other one, will give it try. Will have to re-install because followed other instructions and lost display altogether.
