Hi there,

I'm using the VritualBox 4.3.20 on Win 7 pro 64-bit and I created a VM for Fedora 21 64-bit. My Win 7 screen resolution is 1980x1080 but Fedora shows me only 2 options - 800x600 and 1024x768. How do I change Fedora's screen resolution to same as my host OS resolution that is 1980x1080.

Thanks

Joe Green

try using full screen in VirtualBox to stretch up Fedora.

more fundamental way is adding extra screen resolutions in Fedora. the link below has instructions for Linux Mint, but should (could?) also work on Fedora.

in the instructions 'sudo' is used to make some changes. if you didn't set your account on the sudo list just use the Fedora root account.

$ su -
password: <type root password>
# <commands>

good luck!
