Use yum to install the command:

# yum install calendar
Edit your .bashrc file by adding:

CALENDAR_DIR="/usr/share/calendar/"; export CALENDAR_DIR
Create in your /home/user directory the document calendar in a .calendar directory:


$ cd
$ mkdir .calendar
$ cd .calendar
$ nano calendar

Add there:


LANG=utf-8
#include <calendar.all>

Use the command:

$ calendar
The output will look like:

Nov 08 Her Majesty, the Queen's Birthday in Nepal
Nov 08 Patti Page born, 1927
