killall xexec0 -S 2 is being used to stop a task on windows machine from server running fedora.

Trying to find out exactly what xexec0 does and how doing killall on it stops process in windows.

Many thanks for any help.

The command would appear to be sending a SIGINT to the xexec0 process, the equivalent of Ctrl-C from the keyboard.

My wild guess is that xexec0 is a locally modified version of xexec. The xexec command is perhaps being used to run something which, in turn, is starting a Windows process.

Try to use the ps command to find any child processes of xexec0.
