I'm glad to announce that PeaZip 5.4.0 was released yesterday, with a major GUI update, new option to queue deletion of archives after extraction and deletion of files after archiving (quick and secure deletion), and ZPAQ backend updated to 6.54; full changelog: http://peazip.sourceforge.net/changelog.html

Generic RPM packages are featured on the website for download, help is welcome for creating distribution-specific packages.
Also, portable packages are featured so the application can be tested without modifying the host system.
Help is also appreciated for translations in order to make the application available for non-English speaking users, https://sourceforge.net/projects/peazip/files/Translations/

hey you created peazip right? can you tell me how to get this to work on fedora? I use the xfce version of fedora and its 32 bit.

Also I am not sure entirely what I need to do to make it work. I always run into errors when I try to use it. any thoughts as to why

that happens? something about if you continue to compress/zip this it will cause undesired errors. (not sure what that means.)

anyways if you could help me that would be nice.

In the meantime I will try again. to see if i can make it work. ;)

edit: not sure why but it is working now. but other than custom I am curious as to what the most secure way of using this is.
