[f19] When I try to install any package through YUM it shows error messages like

[Errno 12] Timeout on http://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/19/Everything/x86_64/os/Packages/p/python3-gobject-3.8.2-2.fc19.x86_64.rpm:
(28, 'Connection timed out after 30032 milliseconds') Trying other mirror.
I use manually specified proxy configuration for my internet.
Thanks.

Show us the full yum output. We need to know what your tried to install so we can reproduce that issue.

I am not able to upload the whole out put. The forum says
"Post denied. New posts are limited by number of URLs it may contain and checked if it doesn't contain forbidden words "

I have attached the output as output.txt file with this post

My guess is it's likely the proxy configuration. Maybe you could post that configuration here or in an attachment?

it looks a kind of Proxy Issue , you may be using Proxy Internet .
try to do this with WiFi or the internet connection which is free from Proxy. i Often face this problem , but with WiFi all resolved.
Other Option as i suggest may be do this by Yum update , it will update your kernel and will resolve even Proxy issue ,

Show us what is in your /etc/resolv.conf file.

nameserver 8.8.8.8
nameserver 8.8.4.4

Try adding these 2 lines to your /etc/resolv.conf file. Also remove whatever nameserver lines you have.

I have the same problem. I used YUM to install audacity-nonfree two days ago and it worked fine.

Just now I used

yum provides gnome configuration

And got page after page of:

HTTP Error 404 - Not Found
http://fedora.bhs.mirrors.ovh.net/linux/updates/20/i386/repodata/78894b0f21f1f36728b440a08d50e2f38b93a87d355b76ddcd 855909e3c329f7-filelists.sqlite.bz2: [Errno 14]

for different mirrors.

As far as I know, I don't use a proxy.
