GeForce GT 735 GeForce is my graphics card. Fedora 19.

I bought a second monitor. Asus VS-228H-P. Typical 21.5 inches monitor from best buy. Took me hours to fix it. I'm an extreme Linux newbie. Here is my story.

wget http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86_64/331.20/NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-331.20.run
cd Downloads/
chmod +x NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-331.20.run
./NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-331.20.run
Still nothing worked.
Nvidia gave me an error saying that I first need to install the GCC package.
It didn't work for me. After 10 minutes of Google, I noticed I had to install xmms before ggc. Not even going to question it, I just did it.
yum install xmms
yum install gcc

init 3

(it's going to prompt you into another window, thus login to root///password)

cd home/monroy/Downloads/
sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-331.20.run

And NVIDIA is like "cool you got GCC installed, but now I need either kernel-source or devel package"
Thus,

yum install kernel-source <-- Didn't work for me , maybe I installed the package wrong or something?
yum install kernel-devel

I installed kerndel-devel package just fine.
Thus back to terminal

init 3
cd home/monroy/Downloads/
sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-331.20.run

After it's finally updated.

init1

Or whatever just reboot the computer.
After 3 hours, my second monitor is finally detected. Yes, I cried.
