hi,

Oncw again the gnome 3 group, i guess decided we don't need to see cpu freq or scale it from the gnome desktop. SO, I do not see the gnome-applets in any repository and I would really really like to be able to scale my cpu and monitor it from the desktop. I used to be able to do it in fedora 18 but not now.....any suggestions or programs?

thanks,
dave

Perhaps something like https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/9/systemmonitor/ or https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/444/cpu-freq/ ?

The old gnome applets might be available as mate-applets and can be used if you are running. For GNOME shell, extensions are the way to go.

You might already know this, nevertheless, a survey of the GNOME Extensions (https://extensions.gnome.org/) page might yield some fruits.
