View Full Version : Participate in document translation

I would like to give something back to the Linux community in general, and the Fedora project in patricular. Though I'm not able to develop the code, I'm sure I could be of some help in translating documentation (and guides).

I have been browsing the official Fedora web site and there's two separate projects, internationalization + translation. I suspect that there's very little done (yet) to the Fedora documentation project but a lot is probably in the works.

If I would like to translate the (existing) documents, who should I get in contact with?

Is it a co-ordinator for every language?

http://fedora.redhat.com/projects/translations/ contains all of the information about the Translation project.

You can use this form here (http://rhlinux.redhat.com/cgi-bin/i18n-signup/) to signup for the Translation project to become a translator. Or you could email one of the maintainers either pgampe@redhat.com or sarahs@redhat.com .

There is also a Fedora translation list you can signup to here (https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-trans-list).
