hi,
i have the fc2 installed,now i want the apt to upgrade the packages to the fc3 ,but the case is when i am runing apt for upgrading any package it is fetching the packages from defferent ditros like fc3,fc2 updates and fc2 core,plz tell me how i confgire the apt to fetch the pakcages only from fc3 this is the sources.list:

1) For a given respository (e.g. "dag"), use one mirror, not several. They may be out of sync.

2) Check for any files in /etc/apt/sources.list.d - you may have older repository information in there as well. You can probably remove them safely.

hi,
thanks for rpely,i was anaware of sources.list.d,it was configured for fc2,so i changed it to fc3 now the apt is upgrading only to fc3.agin thanks a lot.

may give step by step! It is hard to know with some many term is not know!
