I can't seem to find an answer to this question, and maybe it's not possible but than someone could explain to me why it isn't.

I use dropbox to sync my work (in this case, my PhD) between laptop/pc/work both on my PC and on my laptop I run Fedora 18. I have used the Documents folder for stuff that isn't really critical to have synced, and I love how it's integrated in the Shell/Documents app. However, most documents I use aren't in that folder, but in my Dropbox folder, that apparently isn't indexed for Documents or for the Shell.

Is there a way to set this up? I thought Gnome Shell uses Tracker, but I have no experience with Tracker. I used to run Beagle and Zeitgeist, but have no idea if I could change the indexing settings for Tracker.

Thanks for any info

Thanks Dutchy! That worked great. I don't think I need the extension as I now added Dropbox to my index list.

I'll try it out today and mark it as solved if everything works out.

(and I'm adding these commands to my post install command-list.)
