I switched from Mint 13 to Fedora 18 yesterday, and after getting the system to my liking I've lost the start-up animation. I've searched for an answer but can't seem to find anyone that's asked this question before. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you mean the splash screen? Which video card do you have and did you install any proprietary drivers?

I have two nvidia gtx480 and I did install the proprietary driver.

Are you getting that funky bar across the screen instead of the graphics?

If so, look at that last link Dan posted above, taking note of posts #5 and #7 in that thread.
