I am trying to do some programing using the libpcap and jpcap but I am having some problems with compiling. These libraries need the berkeley packet filter to be enabled in the kernel. Does FC2 have BPF support in the kernel and if so how do I enable it.

Thanks

j.

Not sure, but have you installed libcap-devel?

yes i have the devel libraries installed. The problem is almost certainly to do with bpf support not being enabled in the kernel.

Having problems finding this option in the kernel config stuff.

Any ideas where it would be ?
