Hi comm,
I have just installed pandoc by typing at cli
$ sudo yum install pandoc everything seems gone as expected. For checking purposes I typed (at cli)
$ which pandoc and got this output
/usr/bin/pandoc
Then I installed pandoc-mode by going to emacs package list by typing
M-x package-list-packages RET I chose pandoc by ticking "I" on the item, then "X". The pandoc-mode file was created at ~/.emacs.d/elpa/pandoc-mode-20121214.200. Then adding to my .emacs (init) file
(load "pandoc-mode")
and, accordingly manual here (http://wwwuser.gwdg.de/~jkremer/pandoc-mode-manual.html#installation) the line below so that to start pandoc whenever I open a markdown file.

(add-hook 'markdown-mode-hook 'turn-on-pandoc)
On the manual it reads that installation is easy, :dis: but when I restart emacs I got this output
Warning (initialization): An error occurred while loading `/home/txe/.emacs':
File error: Cannot open load file, pandoc-mode
I'd appreciate any clue or help.
PS. This thread is connected to a previous one about installing markdown (http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=287441), but as it's about a different package, really I opted for opening a new one.
