I recently installed Fedora Core 3 . I am using GNOME. It has worked great until today. Currentl y, the bottom panel does not display active programs. I have not changed any settings that I am aware of that impact the bottom panel. I restarted my pc hoping the problem would go away but it did not. I looked around but could not find any settings that would seem to make a difference with this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try add a Window list to the panel, you might had somehow accidentally removed the window list object. The way to do this is right click on the panel and select "add to panel", scroll down to the bottom to select a window list object.

Try the following link, you can download the .font.conf file from the link and see if it work for fedora.
