I have been running fc18 beta for a month.
There are a couple of things in nautilus that have changed

01. There used to be an option to create an empty document in a nautilus folder

02. Not too sure about this but I will ask anyway. When I open nautilus it has
saved the window size ( which I like but would also like to know where this
preference is stored) However it does not save the column width so each
time I open nautilus I have to resize, the file name column to be wider.
Actually the search icon is located just above the sweet spot.

01. This shall help
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Nautilus#Nautilus_3.6_create_an_empty_document

02. I don't know how to do that.

Actually I hit the problem like you about 2 months ago and I had the chance to edit the wiki in Arch Linux. But I 'm not sure If there was an option for everyone to contribute to fedora wiki.

anyone with a FAS account can edit the Fedora wiki. Just hit login and enter your FAS credentials.

Thanks for your answer. I already have an FAS account. But there must a option for creating a new wiki page. I just couldn't find where it is.
