I everyone, I've just upgraded Fedora 17 to 18.
Totem doesn't play any video but, every other video player have no problem (gnome player, vlc even xnoise).
The program is not able to find proper codecs with his own.
I've installed a lot of gstreamer packages.

Some ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem. But they have bigger problems with the installer at the moment I guess.

Totem can definitely play lot of video formats with a couple of codecs installed. As distributer mentioned in the above post, there are other bigger problems at the moment! Try installing these repositories and see if it works

rpm -ivh http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release.rpm
rpm -ivh http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm
rpm -ivh http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/fedora/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-stable.noarch.rpm

install these codecs as well
yum install libdvdread libdvdcss

Then run the video you wanna play in the totem player and it will ask for permission to download few other codecs, allow it! After installation finishes, close the totem and run the video again!

Totem has been updated to use gstreamer 1 so you need to install the plugins accordingly, for example I guess you tried to play mp3, and mp4 then you need: gstreamer1-plugins-ugly and gstreamer1-libav respectively
