I've been searching for an hour and cant find an answer. Adobe Flash Player crashes after a couple of minutes playing.

I had the same problem in ubuntu and there was a fix of updating a library file but I cant find any info for fedora.

I using Fedora 17 and flash-plugin-11.2.202.238-release.x86_64 downloaded from adobe website today.

I've disabled hardware acceleration and also tried Gnash but it couldnt play video full screen smoothly.

What is the fix for this in Fedora?

Thanks.

what video card do you have?
What library update did you see in ubuntu which solved your trouble?

Fedora 17 and flash-plugin-11.2.202.238-release.x86_64 downloaded from adobe website today.

I am using same flash plugin (from Adobe site) with F16 and FireFox 14.0.1, no trouble.
My notebook: Toshiba Satellite C655 i3 with intel graphics.

Hi,

I unintalled and reinstalled using methods from various websites including fedora wiki. As I'd just installed fedora I decided to reinstall fedora and used the instructions from here http://www.unixmen.com/201206-how-to-install-flash-player-on-fedora/ and havent had any problems since.

Dont know what it was but a full fedora reinstall and not downloading flash from adobe website seemed to fix it.

Thanks.
