Has anyone else experienced freezing on F17?
The problem described in this thread
http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=272890&highlight=overflowing
appears to have returned with kernel-PAE-3.4.0-1.fc17.i686
xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.12.0-5.fc17.i686
Ther are a number of similar threads on this site and a few bugs in RedHat bugzilla but I cannot find any resolutions.

[ 17459.236] [mi] These backtraces from mieqEnqueue may point to a culprit higher up the stack.
[ 17459.236] [mi] mieq is *NOT* the cause. It is a victim.
