I have just reinstalled FC3 (been to Ubuntu and back :-) and after I have installed APT (import all KEYS and creating all .list files), YUM (and creating all .repo files) and configuring my SMB shares (fstab, smb.conf) I did a reboot.

When I tried to launch a Terminal window it did'nt showed the prompt ... just the black mouse pointer in the upper left corner. I went to launch the Super User Terminal and then I received this message:

The program 'su' is not found;
make sure your PATH is set correctly.

Something is definitly wrong here ... what should I do to reclaim my Terminals:-) ?

cool ....

Ok, lets go to work ;)
Is it possible for you to:
-> display/post the fstab file (cat /etc/fstab)
-> display/post smb.conf (cat /etc/samba/smb.conf)
-> check via "set" if the path is set in a correct way (/ust/bin entries etc..)

It sounds like there might be a small bug happened while editing the files ...
