Yeah well, call me what you want, i need help...

I created a new Kmenu, and i went into the menu editor thinking that it would just edit my new one, so i got rid of all the stuff except for terminal, control center, and home. but when i saved it and i clicked on both, they both were them same!! is there any way to revert to a previous save, or something?!?

:(

Delete the files in the directories $HOME/.config and $HOME/.local, log out and log back in again. That gives you a "blank slate." If you have installed via an upgrade and you were using a version of KDE prior to 3.2, you'll also want to delete the directories $HOME/.kde/share/applnk and $HOME/.kde/share/applnk-redhat

No, the problem is not with the packages but with how your customizations were stored. Re-installing will not resolve the issue since it doesn't affect user settings.
