Hey everyone,

Just wanted to let anyone it the computer speaker market know that the Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 wireless speakers work out of the box with fedora 16. All you have to do is open sound settings and the output tab and select them as the output hardware. The flexibility of having wireless speakers is amazing on a laptop. And these are VERY impressive speakers. Highs and lows are very very clear even at full volume. And the Bass Kicks extremely hard, its a house shaker for sure..

Anyway here is a link if you want to check them out:

Should work without a problem.

Might get a little more CPU overhead than with a pair of wired speakers, which could be an issue if you play a lot of HD video which is CPU intensive anyway.

I love my Klipsch Promedia 4.1's that I got nearly 10 years ago. You can't beat the sound of them :)

Yea they work great! Haven't noticed any higher CPU overhead, but then again my laptop has an i7 so i haven't really been looking lol. Klipsch makes a good speaker for sure :dance:
