Yep, Fedora 16 Alpha is out. This post (https://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/announce/2011-August/002992.html) has all the details, including the download link (http://fedoraproject.org/get-prerelease), release notes (http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_16_Alpha_release_notes), and common bugs (errata) page (https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Common_F16_bugs). Do please read the release notes and common bugs, as there are some important things to be aware of with this release. Happy testing!

I'm off to hit all the links you've provided Adam. Got to see if I can install this to an existing partition without issue.

Can someone please write up a review?

I assume F16 is running the 3.1.x branch of Gnome?

I been an eager and avid user of Fedora for over 10 years, and the hat I wear these days are a political scientist, and a wannabe lawyer, I need the stability of the major release, as opposed to the alpha- or beta-releases; maybe I can load and try these releases on the tower, rather than the portable computer.

I LOVE it!!! keep up the fantastic work gang!!!!
