Hi, my expert friends,

I am using f14. I set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable in my .bashrc file at one time. Now I do not want to do that any more. So I commented it out.

But everytime I start a new terminal, I still see LD_LIBRARY_PATH being set the old way.

I checked .bash_profile. It is not set there. I did grep on all file in my home directory for LD_LIBRARY_PATH, nothing.

I can set it to something else with a new line in .bashrc:

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=...

But if I comment the new line out, the old setting comes back.

Where could the LD_LIBRARY_PATH set?

Thank you so much.

Did you by any chance put a file in /etc/profile.d/ and forget about it?

I checked. And there is nothing that I edited or created in that directory.

Thank you!
