I would find a link to my u-disk when I plus it into the computer @ F14 on the desktop.

After upgrading the system to F15, No normal "desktop" I could found, so where could I found my u-disk?

I tried the Files short cut, but it does not work, would I mount it myself like in the old Redhat system?

Right after you plug it in run this command in a terminal window:
dmesg | tail
and see if it is recognized there. Give us the output of that command.
Uh, what is a u-disc? An external drive? A memory card or stick?
