View Full Version : Not able to login as the system hangs after boot slash

29th July 2011, 10:35 PM
I have updated f15 today, while nearing end of the update process , there was a power failure. Nearly after five hours ,i went on to switch on my p.c. After boot splash my screen was getting crazy , as was starting flicker three times with the page full of starting messages...... and at the end my pc hangs up at the line "Started LSB: Starts the NFSv4 id mapping daemon. Started LSB: start and stop sendmail .each oops.....resses. It must be running on" . There is no further proceeding to GDM LOGIN window.(The same applies for older kernal also) Help me to fix it.
