Hi,

I upgraded from Fedora 14 to Fedora 15 with preupgrade. Generally everything's working fine, but I noticed that the Dropbox Nautilus integration (nautilus-dropbox-*) doesn't work no more. Does anyone have similar or opposite experiences and can someone tell me how to get it to work if possible.

Computer: IBM T60P type 2008

Thanks in advance!

SOLUTION from YeOK:

You need to make a symlink.

Code:
$ cd /usr/lib/nautilus/extensions-3.0
$ sudo ln -s ../extensions-2.0/libnautilus-dropbox.so libnautilus-dropbox.so
Restart Nautilus and you should have the missing menu's.

NOTE: If you are running x86_64 you will have to change lib to lib64.

I have it working but can't remember the details..

I think, what you need to do is run dropbox from the command line, it should show you an error about a missing lib. I think a simply sym link fixed it for me.

Hmm... Started the Dropbox
dropbox start and got this error
(dropbox:29830): Gdk-CRITICAL **: IA__gdk_window_get_root_coords: assertion `GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed

OK, I was wrong, it is missing but I found it.

You need to make a symlink.

$ cd /usr/lib/nautilus/extensions-3.0
$ sudo ln -s ../extensions-2.0/libnautilus-dropbox.so libnautilus-dropbox.so

Restart Nautilus and you should have the missing menu's.

NOTE: If you are running x86_64 you will have to change lib to lib64.
