Apologies for the short notice, but I got my wires crossed and thought this was on Thursday. But it is in fact...today! Yes, it's printing Test Day (https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2011-03-29_Printing) over in #fedora-test-day on Freenode IRC RIGHT NOW. Our printing guru, Tim Waugh, has logged off for the day, but the test cases are very easy to run and Tim will be back to look at any problems you find soon. We really need to test as many printers as we can, so if you have a printer and a pulse, please pop over to the Wiki page (https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2011-03-29_Printing) and run through a few of the tests for us! Thanks a lot.

http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/models/psc/psc_1500_series.html claims it's supported, so...seems like a bug. Did you enter your result in the test day page and file a bug? Thanks!

Well ... I was going to, really ... but ... (insert silly arsed excuse-of-the-day here) <....>

On a more serious note, I had intended to do so, but it fell off the plate when the rest of the install started going all pear shaped. See this thread (http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?p=1456951), starting around post #97, with the real adventures starting around post #120.

I've already got a half dozen bug reports looming in the ether over at bugzilla, and until a few of those get ironed out, I'm not sure I'd trust this thing to reliably identify its own backside with both hands in a hall of mirrors ... at high noon. ... with a persistent itch to guide them.
