It's Test Day time again, and I'm late with the announcement, because I suck. Yes! You heard it here first.

Today is Preupgrade Test Day (https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2011-03-17_Preupgrade). Preupgrade is one of the recommended ways to upgrade from one Fedora release to another, so of course we want to try and get it working for Fedora 15! If you have some spare time please come along and help test. You'll need an F14 installation you don't mind losing - it can be in a virtual machine if you like. Full instructions are in the Wiki page, and we'll be in #fedora-test-day on Freenode IRC. Thanks!

Cool. Make sure you follow the wiki page - you need some updated builds that are mentioned there. Thanks for testing!

Hello AdamW. After restarting the VM following preupgrade, the system still boots into Fedora 14. I take it something went wrong here. Any advice?

it would've been best to ask in the IRC channel during the event. I'm not a preupgrade expert, I just ran the announcement.

No problem. I'll try again and follow up when I have a resolution.
