I'm looking for linux software that could replace the apps I use on my xp box.

They are:

1. Quicken, with online banking, and syncing with palm pocket quicken
2. Vegas video editing software
3. Street Atlas mapping software
4. Palm hotsync
5. Frontpage html editor

1. I have a sony clie that uses palm software read this how to: http://www.fedoranews.org/tchung/gnome-pilot/
2. Quicken may be replace with gnucash, this app is included in FC2. http://www.gnucash.org/en/screenshots.phtml
3. Quantas and Screem are html editor included in FC2.

For your vegas video app and Atlas I dont have an answer because I never used it.

I use Ximian (novell) Evolution To keep my palm up to date (I think it takes advantage of gpilot in the process)
Dreamweaver and frontpage both run under wine, But Quanta Plus is a very good alternative.
