Hi,
i switched from sabayon to Fedora13 some days ago, and now i encounter the problem, that some applications (XnView, XnViewMP, PFTrack so far) can't browse cifs network paths.
This was working fine while on Sabayon. I would try smbmount, but that is not available on Fedora, if I am not mistaken.
This is my fstab mount:
//servername/SAN /SAN cifs rw,auto,uid=501,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777,usern ame=blabla,password=blabla 0 0

/SAN is accessible from xterm, dolphin, etc with all permissions.
Any suggestions, or a hint how i could get smbmount running?

thx,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

Did you solve this problem? I'm having the same issue on Fedora 13 when trying to browse on a CIFS mouted file system with XNView.

Tks.
