I try to create a kickstart file of the configuration of my installation to use it with revisor but when I give:

system-config-kickstart --generate

I get the error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/system-config-kickstart", line 60, in <module>
opts, file = getopt.getopt(sys.argv[1:], "g:h", ["generate=", "help", "display="])
File "/usr/lib/python2.6/getopt.py", line 89, in getopt
opts, args = do_longs(opts, args[0][2:], longopts, args[1:])
File "/usr/lib/python2.6/getopt.py", line 157, in do_longs
raise GetoptError('option --%s requires argument' % opt, opt)
getopt.GetoptError: option --generate requires argument

Does anyone knows how to fix it?

Try this:

yum install system-config-kickstart

Try this:

yum install system-config-kickstart

I had it installed. I got:

Package system-config-kickstart-2.8.2-1.fc12.noarch already installed and latest version
Nothing to do
