hi everyone
I have problem with boot menu, when I install fedora12 on my laptop, it just gave me 2 possiblity..
1- fedora 12
2- other

when I try on other it load recovery (not windows)

note: my windows is vista home basic, and even I try on editing chainloader,

this is /boot/grub/menu.lst

how can i set it for windows, not its recovery

Please post the output of

su -c "fdisk -l /dev/sda"

from a teminal. You probably just have to modify the line

rootnoverify (hd0,0)


rootnoverify (hd0,1)

It should be as I posted earlier. Make the modification, reboot and let us know if it's working...

It works properly, I really appreciate your help..
but I don't know, I try it on fedora 11 and it dosen't work, then I install fedora 12 and in menu on adding boot menu, i set it to find automatically for boot devices but still problem was there.. and here I use your advise and it works.. :D
