Hello,

is there a way to bind shortcut, that would open the browser (this one exists in gnome) if it was not opened. But once the browser is running it just shows/restores opened window?

Thank you

Does the browser you're using provide for this behavior? If not, then no.

If it does, then just set your shortcut key using 'gnome-keybinding-properties' then set the command to use for opening a browser using 'gnome-default-applications-properties'.

Unfortunately none of the browsers I tend to use (FF, Chrome) supports this feature. Do you think there might some kind of a workaround?
