Post output of

su -c 'cat /boot/grub/menu.lst'
You'll probably see

title Other
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader +1
It may be that you need to change that to

title Other
rootnoverify (hd0,1)
chainloader +!
You can also change the word Other to Windows if you wish.

You need to show a little patience. All help you get here is free and provided on our own personal time. No one is obligated to help.

Open a terminal and type

su -c 'gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst'
You will need to provide root password. Now that the file is opened in a text editor change the 0 to a 1, as I previously indicated. Save and reboot. Choose Windows (or Other) and see if it boots.

Probably. Boot to Fedora and give me the output of the command

su -c 'fdisk -l'
please. If you have several partitions you need to figure out where Windows is, but it's usually /dev/sda1 (hd0,0) or /dev/sda2 (hd0,1).

ok im kind of in the same boat. Whats happening to me is when i boot up, instead of going to a grub screen, it just boots fedora. No grub screen ever pops up. I did the previous recommended change to the text editor. nothing changed. here is the output that you requested:

[Jason@Echo ~]$ su -c 'fdisk -l'

Could i possibly have to change the text to 2 since that seems to be where my windows partition is? The wierd part is that grub doesnt even pop up though... trying to figure out how to reinstall grub but with no luck so far.

Change the timeout to something other than 0 and remove the line that says hiddenmenu.

just changed it to 2 with no results. I think there is something wrong with my grub. It happened after i switched from ubuntu to fedora if that helps any.
