Hi,
I have recently setup a dual boot system that consist of Windows Vista and Fedora 12, I am looking for a solution that will allow me to create an entire restore image for both OS's on an external hard drive. I am looking for something that is easy to use, stable, and free. I have looked at clonezilla and have used Norton ghost 2003 in the past which is not supported with Windows Vista. Any ideas would be great. Thank you.

check out FSArchiver. This is the replacement for partimage which doesn't work with ext4.

i time4e. From my experience Acronis True Image Home 2009 Boot Disc is reliable (works every-time) and is easy to use and really quick when restoring a backup image, however it does not work with ext4.

Acronis True Image Home 2010 Rescue Disc is buggy and on occasions has created a corrupted image so don't waste u money there. Put that one in the bin.

From my efforts so far FSArchiver is u best bet with ext4.
