Thank you for opening it.

I just installed Fedora 12 and while I was trying to install Skype, there was a system crash and since then I can not install any other software or can not even access 'add/remove software'.....whenever I try to install a software or try to open the 'add/remove software', I get the message
'An internal system error has occured'.
and inside it contains this-

Traceback (most recent call last):

raise Errors.ConfigError, msg
ConfigError: File contains no section headers.
file: file://///etc/yum.repos.d/skype.repo, line: 1
"su -c 'yum -y install skype'\n"

I tried using the terminal-
yum clean all
yum metadata
sudo yum clean all
yum clean metadata

and all of these gave me the same words-

Loaded plugins: presto, refresh-packagekit
Config Error: File contains no section headers.
file: file://///etc/yum.repos.d/skype.repo, line: 1
"su -c 'yum -y install skype'\n"

Note it: everything else is working fine, but I just can not install or update any more software.

The problem is with your /etc/yum.repos.d/skype.repo. What does it contain? The error says it's missing a section header. The file should start with something like:

The square bracketed text is the section header.

Ok, macemonteta has answered. I've closed the other thread, and edited this one to give it normal colors and fonts.

Also, you've posted this at least two or three times. Please read the forum guidelines (link at top of page) before posting anything else on these forums. You've violated two of them, excessive use of colors and double posting, both of which brought reports on the posts from other forum members.

Any questions on this, please feel free to PM any of the staff.

Note that both of these things will actually make people far less likely to answer your posts--people get annoyed if they've answered the question in one forum then see it in another. Additionally, the colors also annoy people, and many aren't as nice as macemonteta, and will simply ignore the post.
