Can anyone detail a way to write the entries so that it will automatically find the newest kernel and init image? I have a grub2 cd personalized to my computer, but I don't want to burn a new one whenever I update the Fedora kernel. Thanks

Edit: Does this fit the bill??
# Entry 0 - Load Linux kernel
menuentry "My Linux Kernel on (hd0,1)" {
set root=(hd0,1)
linux /vmlinuz root=/dev/hda1
initrd /initrd

What?

Everytime a new kernel gets installed, a new menu entry is added to grub.conf during that time.

Or you are talking about a Live CD?

Yes I am talking about a cd. I was hoping I could come up with a generic entry that would transcend updates.
